I am excited to see old friends (in both senses of the word) next fall. I'm a professor at the Univ. of Michigan School of Public Health where I have been on the faculty since 1972. Served as the School's Dean from 2005-2010. Before retiring in April 2012, my wife, Pat, was Executive Director of the UM's Children's and Women's Hospitals. We have been married for 36 years and have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. If you're wondering about the Traverse City address for a UM faculty member, the former is now our permanent address. I am in Ann Arbor full time only in the fall when I'm teaching. Our TC home, where Pat grew up, is on the beach of East Bay.
