After Wilson went to university of maryland, american university, university of southern colorado, and nashville tech. My dad and I had a sign company and did gold leaf for Capitol building, Kennedy Center, U.S. Coast Guard headquarters, Smithsonian 1876 exhibit, and won craftsman of the year for historic stencilling on church in Ellicott City. Also gold leafed and stencilled historic room screen for Theodore Roosevelts Sangamore Hill, and was sent to Scagway Alaska to gold leaf at historic Klondike Gold Rush Park.
Then went to Nashville to write songs...have several on youtube under my name and two about abandonded animals called "save one at a time" and "together". They were written for a documenatary about animals.
Then came home to wv ( taxes are cheaper here ) about 1 1/2 hours from d.c. where i have been decorating furniture www.mauxfaux.weebly.com. Have shown my art in Washington street Artists' Coop. Charles Town wv, Ice House in Berkely Springs WV, Artomatic in Charles Town wv, and Summit Point Library in WV. My wonderful parents lived with us for 15 years but have sadly passed on at 88. Got juvenile diabetes at 19 while at University of Maryland and have had it for 57 years. It did not slow me down as i had a very active sign career climbing ladders and scaffolding ( gold leafed a few church steeples..one if frederick md ) Been married three times. my currant husband Brian Lowery who taught college in Nashville and now that he is retired he works on carpentry in our garage a lot.
